先日、Adobeから「Adobe HTTP Dynamic Streaming」が公開されたので、調べてみました。
動画の配信や、従来はRTMP（*1）などを使用していたライブ配信が
HTTPで配信出来るようになり、このため、80番ポートを開けておくだけでよいとの事。
また、配信されるフラグメントファイルも従来のキャッシュサーバにキャッシュ出来るとのこと。
運用面が楽になりそうな予感(ー_ー)!!
*1.RTMP（Real Time Messaging Protocol）
Flash/flvの再生に使われる，ストリーミング動画配信用プロトコル。
